I have not spotted the marsh
Yet, but this town definitely has many buildings made of the yellow stone which is indicative of the Cotswolds. After a train delay, I finally arrived here, and of course, have time to kill while waiting for the 18:18 bus to Chipping Campden, where I will be spending the night at Wolds End. Tomorrow I will begin the first leg of the Cotswold Way, heading south.
It’s noticeably warmer here in the south. Although the sun has come out briefly, the sky is still laden with moisture, and spitting occasional rain.
I don’t know when I will have another chance to log in and post an update, but undoubtedly there will be service somewhere. ’till then.
